Chicken-N-Booze

This weekend we went on a pub crawl with about 40 people down in N. KY. We went to Main Strasse (is that how it's spelled?) to about 6 bars. We would have went to all 10, but we went to Jillians to meet friends for kareoke. The pub crawl is called "Chicken And Booze", it's a long story to explain the name, but they go once a month to a different set of bars. There is a website called: chickenandbooze.com that explains more. Anywho...it's a lot of fun! It was about 8 or 9 degrees that night, so that took away some of the bliss. Yoi and double yoi!

4 More Years

So, Ed reenlisted yesterday. It was a blast....he did the deed on the bar with the Major, each with a shot of whiskey to share after all the formalities. Ed got shnookered of course...beer, whiskey, jagermeister, liquid cocaine will do that job quite well. He called my boss and told her that I wouldn't be back that day for work, because he was so drunk. It was pretty funny, good thing my boss and I are friends. She just thought Ed was so funny and cute. If I get any good pics from the day, I'll post them. Now it's time to tell the families that we're going to 29 Palms this summer. We were holding off on breaking the news, because some people have gotten really spoiled by having us so close.

Champs!

We won! We are the champions! Woohoo!! Of course, plenty of Bengals fans have had their little snippy comments about the Big Ben touchdown, the refs, etc....but, we still won!

Super Bowl

Ok....time to start crossing your fingers and thinking good thoughts for the Steelers to win the Super Bowl!

Of course, we all know they're gonna win!

Public

When you work with the public, you start to notice just how strange people can be. They can be rude, ignorant, silly, kind, polite, stupid, etc. I just have to wonder how some people function in daily life. We had a patient who came in to the office today that didn't know how to properly spell his last name (not kidding), nor did he seem to notice (or maybe he didn't care) that his nose was running a good inch down his lip. However, he knew that it was "cool" to have his ears pierced and wear his hat backwards. The worst part is he drives and can still breed. That's my venting session for today.

So, for some reason, I am interested in this blogging business. Not sure who I should blame. I'm sure Ed will make fun of me...Who knows what will come of all this, maybe I'll get bored in a week or two....hopefully it won't become an obsession!
